If you need to see a member of the Health Care Team please
contact the Reception at the site you are registered with
and you will be offered a consultation time.
We aim to provide the majority of these consultations on
the same day that you call. This may be a face to face consultation
in the surgery, or if more appropriate, a telephone consultation.
These enable the Doctors and Nurses to help you with some
problems or queries without you having to attend the surgery.
The Receptionist will take your name, a contact number and
a brief message. The Doctor or Nurse will then call you
back.
NB. Please ensure you are available to take the call.
We will not be able to return the call if the number given
bars anonymous calls.
In order to allow patients to be seen on the same day whenever
possible, most appointments to see a doctor can only be
made on the day. However, a proportion of the appointments
may be booked up to one month in advance. Please ask Reception
Staff for availability.
Patient's Responsibilities
If you cannot keep an appointment please let the surgery
know as soon as possible, preferably in the morning to enable
us to offer the appointment to someone else.
Please arrange a separate appointment for each person
who needs to be seen.
