Ms Marie Dickson
Marie grew up in the small village of Boughton – Under – Blean, where she attended Boughton Primary School in 1980, then The Abbey School in Faversham.
She joined the original "Kent Ambulance Service" (Now South East Coast) in 2003, where she initially trained as an Emergency Medical Technician, initially gaining 3 years’ experience working on emergency ambulances, before undertaking her Paramedic training in 2006, qualifying as a Paramedic with the Institute Of Health & Care Development (IHCD).
She served as a front line Paramedic with the emergency Services for 13 years, and then worked in hospitals as a Resuscitation Officer, dealing with medical emergencies, and teaching Immediate Life Support (ILS) to hospital staff including Doctors and nurses. She remains a qualified Instructor with The Resuscitation Council, and enjoys teaching. She joined our team in 2019, and is the Resuscitation Lead for the surgery.
She is currently studying Advanced Clinical Practice at Canterbury Christ Church University to enhance her skills further to offer more for her patients.
